Flitter is built from the ground up to be an iPhone-centric richly-featured news feed and podcast app.

Enjoy reading your favorite blog, news, or listen to your podcasts (even offline), on the iPhone in one central application just like you would your email. With the press of a button, all of your blog and news sites are checked for updates, which are then downloaded into flitter for searching and reading. Even podcasts can be auto-downloaded for you or streamed on demand.

Cant remember where that article was? Use the pervasive search and tagging feature: Search article titles and content from any feed, or from your entire Flitter database. Filter on tags and time!

And dont worry about deleting old articles for space, Flitter purges old information to make room for newer articles. You can customize how many articles to keep per feed.

Does your feed or podcast subscription require URL authentication? No problem. Want to hide options from your kids (such as the ability to email)? No problem. There are loads of features inside. Want to customize a blog title or icon? Piece of cake!

Are you an existing RSS reader? Import and export feeds to/from other applications.

Use the built-in discovery feature for locating blogs or news by category. Or use the feed scan tool to see if your favorite websites offer any.

There are much more features under the hood. Stop by our forum over at www.dyerware.com if you have any questions!

> Search across all of your feeds, or within a subset
> Flexible custom article tagging
> Full screen article and web browsers

> Import/export with other readers using OPML format.

Pros and cons of Flitter app for iPhone and iPad

Flitter app good for

This app does what it says it can do. It is a great Twitter/RSS Reader combination application. It can give you all of the news from your various websites instantly right at your fingertips. The interface may take a minute or two to become familiar with, but after you do, this app will keep you informed without the need of using two apps for the same purposes. This app also has quite a few features that some other apps might not have. It is is a very handy app that is very useful.
Got this app with a promo code. Never thought it would be so great, now I have configured all my fav sites in it. Good work guys.
This app is an excellent RSS reader. Its simple and easy to use, but also fully featured and very customizable. You can read RSS/twitter feeds and stream podcasts. If you are a traveler, then you will love the fact that it caches feeds for viewing offline. There is also full screen browsing. I highly recommend you check this one out.
It is now my most frequently used app. Very polished and solid.
If you add a bunch of websites to your hone page this tool is for you stops all the home screen clutter plus save all your porn sites under any name you like any site can be stored I love this app
if it could integrate with Googles RSS Reader and have an option to follow all of my Tweets without having to add each one individually. I routinely follow 23 RSS services to which I am subscribed by way of Google and I am following 54 people on Twitter. To add 77 separate RSS services and Twitter subscriptions would take me all day. Great App though

Some bad moments

Like most other rss apps in the store its lacking. Its main feature is the rss integration yet theres no way to sync any form of a rss account. You left with manually adding ever site if you want to use this app. Dont waste your time. Netnewswire or bylines are far better choices.
The description says you can import from Google Reader but that is not the case. You have to import all your feeds manually.
Great product but with the new upgrade , I cant get the screen into landscape mode. (iPhone 4S)
